Frequently asked questions
While wildlife is never guaranteed, our success rate exceeds 95% at our prime viewing locations. Condors are creatures of habit and thermal currents, and we know exactly where and when to look.
At our viewing spots, condors often pass within 10-20 meters as they ride thermal currents along the cliffs. It's an incredibly intimate experience with these magnificent birds.
Besides condors, we often spot black-chested buzzard eagles, chimango caracaras, austral pygmy owls, and various Patagonian songbirds. Your guide will help identify everything we see.
